Weald Place Farm Bees is born from my obsession. After the loss of my printing company in the recession of 2010, I decided to go back to farming and to specialise in the animal that I had been obsessed with since being a young boy, the “Honey Bee”.
Our aim is to be one of the premier suppliers of quality Honey Bees for beekeepers in the South East of England. Our stocks are Italian, Buckfast, British Black and Carnolian strains. All strains have their pros and cons, but we believe that putting all your eggs in one basket has a serious down side; all of our breeding stock has been deliberately selected to over winter well, with strong resistance to Varroa.
